This is so lovely! I love the fact that the little beads are sewn into individual pockets, stopping them from gathering all in one placeLouise's ReadingUnited Kingdom
This blanket has been a game changer for me. This blanket has a quilted feel to it, and a nice fleecy cover to go over it. It is very very heavy and does not move at all off me.BanjonicUK
If I get cosy underneath it, I drop off in minutes and my body really relaxes, it's quite amazing. I've had a few migraines recently, and found it really helped me get into a deep restorative sleep.Mr & Mrs CUK
Whether you're familiar with weighted blankets or not, it's not entirely clear exactly what they do and how they can be beneficial. It's essentially a heavy blanket with a whole bunch of benefits, no matter who you are. They consist of several pockets filled with tiny, weighted objects such as glass beads or pellets. They're sewn together and stitched, allowing the weight to be evenly distributed across the blanket.
The weight can stimulate pressure points throughout your body, signaling it to calm the nervous system. Using a weighted blanket has been compared to receiving a hug from a loved one!
A weighted blanket can bring a sense of calm and relaxation, mimicking the feeling of being hugged. Deep touch pressure from a calming blanket can produce a soothing effect that reduces anxiety and can also help with symptoms of ADHD.

As we know, sleep is a compromised state in which you don't have complete control over things and there are safety precautions to take when using weighted blankets. These are especially important for young children and anyone with underlying health conditions.
Children below the age of four should not use a weighted blanket as this could cause suffocation. Any children over this age should be able to safely remove the blanket without assistance for it to be considered safe. For adults with underlying health conditions, make sure the blanket isn't too heavy and that you or the individual using it can move around without restriction.
As long as you keep these things in mind when purchasing your weighted blanket, they are completely safe to use!

Cosmo "LOVED" it.
"This had a good weight to it; I was a fan. I also loved the cosy cover – it’s perfect now the weather is cooling down, so I felt very snug when curled up on the sofa. The cover was also easy to get on and off, which is not always the case with these blankets, so that was appreciated."
